What Your Puppy Will Learn
Over 6 private training lessons, we'll work together on essential puppy skills, including:
Basic Obedience: Name recognition, engagement, sit, down, place, come, and stay foundations.
Household Manners: Potty training, crate training, puppy biting, chewing, settling, and establishing healthy routines.
Leash Skills & Impulse Control: Loose-leash walking, polite behavior, and early self-control.
Socialization & Confidence: Appropriate socialization, confidence building, and positive exposure to new experiences.
Handling & Cooperative Care: Helping your puppy become comfortable with grooming, handling, and everyday care.
A major focus of this program is prevention. Rather than waiting for unwanted habits to develop, we'll help you establish healthy boundaries, positive experiences, and consistent routines from the beginning.

How to Get Started — Our 3-Step Training Process
STEP 1 — Initial Phone Consultation (30 Minutes)
Your training journey begins with a required phone consultation. We'll discuss your puppy's history, behavior, daily routines, training goals, and any concerns you may have.
This allows us to get acquainted and prepare for your first in-home appointment.
Included in your package at no additional consultation fee.
STEP 2 — In-Home Assessment & Initial Training Session (2–2.5 Hours)
During your first in-home visit, we'll assess your puppy's temperament, current skills, environment, and training needs before beginning your first hands-on lesson.
We'll identify priorities, introduce appropriate training techniques, and establish an individualized plan for moving forward.
This appointment counts as Lesson 1 of your 6-lesson package.
STEP 3 — Remaining Training Sessions
After completing Steps 1 and 2, you'll schedule your remaining 5 private training lessons.
Each lesson builds upon previously introduced skills, addresses ongoing challenges, and introduces new exercises as your puppy progresses.
Training moves at a pace appropriate for your puppy's individual development and abilities.
Important: Please complete each step in order. Your Initial Phone Consultation must be completed before your first in-home appointment, and your initial in-home session must be completed before scheduling your remaining lessons.
Your Cedar Creek Client Portal
After completing your package purchase, you'll receive an email with instructions for accessing your personal Cedar Creek Client Portal.
Your portal is your central hub for everything related to your puppy's training journey!
